Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney says Steam is missing out on millions of PC players because it doesn’t have games like Fortnite, Riot Games titles, or Genshin Impact.

Sweeney said Valve has “a nice thing going on on PC,” but added that Steam is “missing out on a lot of opportunity” by not having those games available on the platform.

Sweeney also said Epic wants to work with Valve in the future, explaining, “We would love to interoperate with every company willing and to connect all the gamers.”

honestly though after seeing what ai been doing for years it starts to get boring to see this bubble just grow and grow getting closer to popping im just play games with my friends and keep my drawings to myself or post on my Instagram lol

imo using ai tools like this is fine as long as it helps the devs (+ it's optional), and it'll get normalized over time anyway, same way AI coding tools went from "bad quality" to "cheating" to standard in just 3 years once people realized how much faster they get things done with it

because unfortunately whether people wanna accept it or not, we (including game dev studios) either adapt to these tools or get left behind EVENTUALLY

and there's a VERY high chance your favorite app, website or game was already assisted by AI, this isn't new.. studios across the industry (EA, Embark, NetEase, Ubisoft, Activision, etc..) already use AI tools, fortnite is just one of the first few being open about it & how exactly they use it

genuinely curious more details about this, like do they use their own private ai data samples, and is this process only used in concept art. not gonna bandwagon and rip epic for this. are they doing this as ethical as possible is the real question. 🤔
