I haven’t been on Twitter this school year but after a poop incident yesterday I decided Kindergarten stories might bring smiles to a few peoples faces.
I just saw two men (probably in their mid 70’s) in the middle of a park flying airplanes and with kites laying beside them. Slowly down and spending quality time with one another is what we need during this time. I really wish I would have asked if I could join them.
My students saw me in an headband for the first time today on zoom.
Student 1- “Ms. B did you dye your hair pink?”
Student 2- “No, she just forgot how to dress.”
Student 2 has me pegged.
Day 10 of quarantine- I just spent a solid 45 minutes hiding my dog’s frisbee underneath the couch, laughing as she gets it out, and then rehiding it. My dog just left apparently it’s not fun when I hide it in the same spot for 45 minutes.
Student- “Do you play tennis?”
Me- “Yes how did you know that?”
Student- “You just have the look.”
I don’t know what the look is or where she saw it but I am happy to have it.

Student- “Ms. B do you like mine? It says I love Ms. B! Do you want to buy me an extra Valentine’s Day gift now?”
Little does she know I don’t have anyone else to get a Valentine’s gift for so her brown-nosing might work.
Girl- “Ms. B are you wearing makeup today”
Me- “Yes.”
Girl- “Oh, I will come in early tomorrow to teach you how to do your makeup.”
Stay tuned for my new makeup look. This girl has been using blush as eyeshadow.
Four kindergarteners stuck their tongues to a pole outside at recess.
Four kindergarteners had bleeding tongues. They were the coolest kids in class.
Any guesses on how many kindergarteners stick there tongues on the pole tomorrow?
“Ms. B why didn’t you come to my party during break?”
“I didn’t know about it.”
“I invited you through my brain.”
In 2020, we are going to work on our telepathic connections.
