Pujaniya Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), addressed “HINDU VISHWA BANDHU: Embrace the World with Friendship” in Toronto, bringing together 2,000+ participants from all 10 provinces of Canada, with the support of 175+ organisations. 🇨🇦

Rooted in the timeless Hindu civilizational ideal of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — The World Is One Family, the gathering celebrated Hindu identity and heritage while sharing a universal message:

Friendship over division. Dialogue over distance. Mutual respect over misunderstanding. Shared responsibility for the country we all call home.

Dr. Bhagwat Ji spoke on character, social harmony, seva, cultural continuity and collective responsibility, highlighting how remaining rooted in one’s heritage can go hand in hand with contributing positively and meaningfully to Canadian society.

The gathering was honoured by the presence of The Honourable Jason Kenney, former Premier of Alberta and former federal Cabinet Minister, as Chief Guest, and Shri Kashmir Singh Dhaliwal of the Khalsa Diwan Society and the historic Ross Street Gurdwara as Guest of Honour, reflecting the longstanding bonds of friendship and shared heritage between Hindu and Sikh communities in Canada. 🤝

Organised by CHORD — Canadian Hindus for Outreach, Relations and Dialogue, Hindu Vishwa Bandhu brought communities, organisations, institutions and generations together to strengthen outreach, build relationships and encourage meaningful dialogue between Canadian Hindus and the broader Canadian society.
