Last night we won the @timeshighered Award for Outstanding Support for Students! 🌟

This award was in recognition of the work our execs have done with @OfficialUoM to provide support for students during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis

[lexie @lexiebayness]

@Duncanivison Very excited to work with you Duncan! (Hopefully we don’t end up ‘working’ in Piccadilly Gardens again anytime soon though haha)

@themancunion And @alexjecooper’s stellar commentary of the night can be found on @themancunion’s feed; the speed at which his fingers were stabbing his phone screen was phenomenal

Very grateful to have won 3 awards at the @ManchesterSU Arts and Media Awards 23/24 this week for Outstanding Contribution and Best Interview at @themancunion and Best Talk Show at Fuse FM 🤍

[lexie @lexiebayness]

Loved celebrating everyone’s work and talent across all three branches of Manchester Media Group - @themancunion, Fuse FM and Fuse TV - such a lovely way to (begin to) round off the year 💋⭐️

[lexie @lexiebayness]

The Conference was a lovely way to celebrate student journalism and its importance nationwide. Long story short; best paper and best people (in my eyes) and best website (in the SPAs’) xxx

[lexie @lexiebayness]

Last weekend @themancunion headed to Bristol for the @SPAJournalism National Conference. I had the best time meeting other student journalists, seeing what other publications are up to, and hearing from industry professionals across the weekend

[lexie @lexiebayness]

Of course the National Awards night was a highlight - so proud of The Mancunion team for winning Best Website, Highly Commended for Design, and Highly Commended for Photography ⭐️ alongside our Best Publication and Best Digital Regional awards!

Very happy to be shortlisted for Section Editor of the Year, Best Interview, and Outstanding Commitment at The Mancunion, and Best Talk Show at Fuse FM! Looking forward to celebrating everyone’s work across Manchester Media Group at the awards night 🧚🏻‍♂️
