I sometimes go through photos looking for an old video or pic of my kid and see memories I had with people that shouldn’t have had access to me and cringe or get hella upset at myself remembering that at times there were red flags that told me to GTFO years prior
It’s weird but common.
My Dad tells me he had to twist his mates arm to get him to help his daughter financially. Guy has ~$5m in assets, retired, doesn’t know what to spent on.
His daughter has a young baby and a $400k mortgage and struggling.
My Dad said “if you want more grand kids and them to staying living near you, just pay off their mortgage”
Apparently he went as far as giving her $100k.
Why wait until your kids don’t need the money for an inheritance? Families should maximise collective welfare.
I love that feeling when you talk stuff out with someone and u both become aware that neither of u were wrong. You just saw the scenario differently. Talking really should be about seeing things from both perspectives, rather than the need to be right.
Help me wish my mom a Happy Birthday! If you’re feeling generous she accepts cash app and I’ll try to match whatever y’all send.
Her cash app is $shortnsweet00
