@damon_arnette @thaREALjakeg I understood that Spongebob was asexual, as I believe sponges *actually* are, which would make him part of the LGBTQ+ community as he is not cis/hetero. Not for sure but that’s what I’ve heard. Either way, it’s important for kids to know that we are all different & all equal.

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way I could support #blm since I’m currently physically unable to protest and don’t have a ton of money to donate or a decent platform to speak on. Then my son told me he wants to be a cop and it hit me. Of course we should stand up, speak

but he’s not better than anyone else. We are all equal. Because we are equal, every single life is precious and each person’s life is as valuable as his own. I hope he does grow up to be a cop. A good cop. Maybe he’ll one day have the opportunity to be one of the three officers

@Vangsness Then again, we live in a nation where I, while selling clothing, am apparently held to a higher standard as far as what I say and do than the president is so I guess my point is moot. 🙄

@Vangsness I work retail. If I say something offensive, I lose my job. Police should be held to a higher standard and police CHIEFS should be held to a MICH higher standard. So yeah, fire him.

@MarinaDiamandis Most of the cops I’ve met are just out there trying to protect and serve. They’re not out to hurt anyone or do any harm. Not saying all cops are that way. I’m sure some of them just get off on authority. But in my experience, most just wanna help people.
