@charlestonsprng (Joe is absolutely gorgeous too, but I’m not that masculine to attract a gay men so while I have a 1 in 7 billion chance with Kit, there’s no way for me to get with Joe. Just adding in case someone thinks that I agree with having problems with Joe/Charlie)
@charlestonsprng This kind of Charlie hate just baffles me. Nick is a fictional character and if you want to fuck Kit then Charlie (also fictional character btw) isn’t your main obstacle there😭😂
And I’m saying this as someone who would go for it with Kit if I had a chance +
@crying_ina_club Of course there were a shit ton of other ways for Will to unlock powers (saving Mike, cough), but apparently they found it genius to make Mike an idiot, forget the painting and make Will go all “it was never about him, but about me”🙃
@crying_ina_club My interpretation:
Finn: why Mike oblivious?
Dffs: it will pay off dw
Pay off: Will got the powers
If Mike wasn’t oblivious during painting scene he would’ve rejected Will or confess himself. Therefore Will wouldn’t have the whole s5 arc stuff +
@ronanceshadow@clerical_hit They were probably alternating it, experimenting etc. This type of people won’t go like “oh shoot it didn’t work, nvm then”. They will keep trying until the “subject” dies and they run out of the blood..
@Sirens_Scales@AmirinAbyss And if a reader can’t fill in the blanks at all it can be about the reading skills (not in a mean way). I’m autistic and I used to get frustrated when things weren’t spelled out for me, but the more I read and dived into the subtext the more I started to love it and get it
@Sirens_Scales@AmirinAbyss One of the fun parts of consuming fictional content is that you can have your own interpretation of things. Like yes as an author you should know what’s happening, but if the reader sees it differently it’s ok too +
@noahafterdarkk I personally agree, but we’ve seen what happened with for example SNL. I’ve lost count of how many times Finn has been called homophobic, misogynistic and what not. My observation/guess is that it’s probably because he isn’t trying to maintain some image/status when he talks etc
@notedgoon Could be just the way they see their own work? Maybe they have a negative experience with most yaoi, idk. But yeah in that case Alice probably should’ve chosen their words more wisely
@enbybylers I once spoke to someone who had told me that I apparently wasn’t SA’d enough after I’d shared a somewhat controversial opinion. Mind you, I considered that person a friend. Some pple are just unnecessarily judgy and fail to see nuances
@notedgoon Ah, I see. I personally fail to understand where mlm (somewhat) explicit content becomes fetishizing. Therefore I try to avoid the whole discourse. Like when it is fetishising I don’t want to support it, but when it’s not just let it be. But where’s that line?🥲
@noahafterdarkk The key to being loved as a celebrity is by staying blend, avoid strong opinions, avoid a lot of kinds of humor etc, while actively performing some catchy persona. And a good PR team, of course. Those who don’t do this aren’t THAT big, or are big due to hate🥲
@noahafterdarkk Exactly for these reasons, I believe. Finn doesn’t seem to want a huge audience, he just wants to share content with likeminded people. Therefore he doesn’t put that much effort into being politically correct about everything, maintaining a certain image etc +
@repdragons13@joekitcriss I believe it is implied that Nick had bottomed when they were in the pillow fort. They seem to be at least somewhat verse, or Charlie is the top which, to me, makes sense e
@cleradinsclouds Getting off to, or enjoying a disturbing concept doesn’t mean that you actually want something to do with it irl in its literal form. I believe it’s proven that kinks are often tied to traumas etc. Same with liking heavy true crime and extreme horror. Why judge if it helps ppl?
@cleradinsclouds I love gory slasher horror and I like watching videos from surgeries and medical stuff in general, because I find it fascinating how the human body functions. Yet I have zero urge to cut people open for my interest or entertainment + I work in healthcare and lttrly help humans🙃+
@harrysentangel@GalMarielena Personally attacking Olivia is misogynistic and shouldn’t get justified. I agree. But on the professional level she is technically more at fault as a “boss”
While director/actor relationships are quite common I don’t think that it’s right to make an exception for certain fields
