@corbano_ @MLShater I think Poch called off the dogs at half. I noticed a few moments where one of our wings made a great play to send a cross, but no one bothered pushing into the box to receive it. Mix that with our subs & some tactical changes from Paraguay, and you get a much sloppier 2nd half.

We already have Udogie & Robertson over him at LB (Souza loan?); and unless we sell more than one CB and don’t replace them, he’d be 5th choice there at best. How is that a problem?

@DaneFost @nmpilaa Agree with the point but not the example. This is the kind of goof CinemaSins used to be about: actual production mistakes that made the final cut. CS lost the plot when they started conflating those mistakes with their own blatant misunderstandings of the films they criticize.

@parsa_koolaji @edwardbrgr Snyder directed two major comic adaptations before WB asked him to helm the DCEU. He was a known quantity as a filmmaker, and his DCEU efforts were on par with his previous works. WB knew what they were getting; they deserve no sympathy, esp. after throwing Zack under the bus.

@tightlikeadish Nepotism, maybe. But I didn’t think Pakku gave Katara a spot purely because he was engaged to Gran Gran. The necklace reminded Pakku that his arrogance drove away the love of his life; so he bent (pun not intended) his rules to respect Katara’s heritage AND to temper his pride.

@Draven_X_23 @thattugglife Yeah, I see the whole “make something new” critique used mostly for all the live action Disney remakes or legacy sequels/reboots. You know, new editions of already successful movie franchises. Video games have a bunch of great stories to adapt, but these studios never even try.

@mhedges0 @JackPilgrimKSR Being a UK fan is such a slog right now. The program is sputtering and fans are lashing out at anyone they can. Not gonna make any big statements (good or bad) about JP as a reliable UK reporter, but I’m sure his job is a lot tougher when there’s not much good news to report on.
