A few nights before my first child was born, we let our dog out around 3am to pee (we thought; she was going crazy). She was promptly sprayed by a skunk, so @evanm and I washed her down with anti-stink shampoo on our driveway with me in my nightie and suuuuper preggo belly
I say this with so much love, but nothing says “Mama was on a work trip” like realizing that the kids have been wearing diaper cream as sunscreen all week
I was previously disappointed that my daughter doesn't like chocolate, but this is such a fabulous asset because we can eat chocolate in front of her without sharing 😊
Pet peeve: When a (almost always male) colleague reaches out via Slack asking to meet, putting the onus for setting up the event on me. WHY? Do you not know how to use Google Calendar or Zoom??
