@MartyGriffinKD These young drivers have no driving experience and they are terrified of hills. Half the trucks are faulty. The salt hogs don’t work. They had a truck with plow doing the streets and a salt truck following behind. What a mess..

@MartyGriffinKD Because more than half the trucks are broke down. The Public Works Department needs to stop hiring people downsize the Foreman and start getting better trucks. Forget the damn bike lanes. Focus on the safety of our public works Laborers. They are taking the heat and it’s downtown

@MartyGriffinKD Problem is half of the city trucks are down. So how can we expect them to salt roads with few trucks. Maybe cut half of the foreman down and save some money instead of having them drive trucks and paying them overtime. They don’t need 4 foreman for 6 guys. Give me a break.

@MartyGriffinKD CYS failed these poor children. There needs to be stricter laws on Foster parents. To think they were your own family members that did this. We live in a very sick world and it’s only getting worse.

@MartyGriffinKD This is a disgrace. But let’s focus on bike lanes and other ways to waste money then making our public works guys safe. There needs to be priority. Stop contracting trucks out to be fixed because they’re not doing their job.

@MartyGriffinKD Maybe if the Public Works quit hiring people and not having so many Foreman on staff they could afford trucks. No wonder the 4th Division will never be built. So let’s hire more workers and not enough trucks to drive. Let’s split shifts to cover the deficit but drive unsafe truck

@MartyGriffinKD They need to quit hiring all these Foreman. There’s too many at all these divisions and use that money that they could be saving for new trucks and safer equipment. There only needs to be two foreman and the Supervisor. Why do you need 5 Foreman on a daylight shift?
