It has not even been two weeks since you were laid to rest, yet already they are celebrating and mocking your memory. They laugh and say, “Those who were putting sufurias on their heads have stopped.”

Their words sting not because they diminish your legacy, but because they reveal the arrogance and short memory of a people who once found courage in your voice.

They forget that those “sufurias” were symbols of hunger, pain, and defiance a cry from the hearts of the ordinary Kenyans you stood for all your life.

Uhuru Kenyatta did not have to speak about matters HEALTH because he had Mutahi Kagwe, Nancy Mwangangi and Partrick Amoth competent individuals who ran the ministry. Today Ruto is the one singing SHIF SHA because he doesn't have anyone competent there.

Uhuru did not have to speak about education, God knows if he knew anything in that ministry. It did not matter because George Magoha had things under control. Today exams are released after public outcry let alone no money for capitation.

Uhuru did not have to address the country every now and then because Matiangi and Kibicho commanded respect by themselves. When they spoke everyone felt the government has spoken.

Ruto's first blunder was the cabinet he picked. Uhuru's strength was his cabinet. Uhuru's cabinet was so efficient that he did not have to appear in public every time thus retaining the respectable status of head of state. Ruto is everywhere doing everything becoming common and losing respect.

Ruto made us think that Uhuru was not SMART. Today I submit to you that actually Uhuru is smarter than Ruto. @calvinokello4
