The ecology club went out near school with Lisa Freidheim. We saw 11 different species of birds and also saw a falcon (kestrel) in the same spot as four months ago meaning it must live by West! Photos by Ms. Freidheim #Leydenpride

Ecology Club explored the area behind West Leyden and the students saw their first ever yellow rumped and orange crowned warblers. There were a few other firsts including a northern shoveler sighting. We saw a total of 15 different species. #LeydenPride #Fallmigration
