Honestly if I was told by a mermaid-like creature that they were my soulmate, I’d just immediately say yes. What a dream! This book was ADORABLE—not the happy ending I’d like to have seen, but hopeful, so I approve! @MollyOstertag

Finding out I have library fines as an aspiring librarian? Psssh. That’s cool, I’m supporting my local public library. But Library fines to exert control over people’s access to resources? That’s not cool bro.
We passionately believe that all children have the right to read and to read with #FReadom. Open books, as they always have, open doors.

Banning books is a slippery slope, as this year has shown. Where does it stop? #FReadom and our very democracy rely on the exchange of ideas. We celebrate authors who tell stories in all their different perspectives.
If all of these politicians would visit a school library, they would know we how great we are. Instead, they make up things that aren’t true. For example, we have ALWAYS has challenge policies in place. They say we don’t. They now want to burn books and shame us.
The school librarian number is dismal but growth of admin and loss of direct contact people like teachers and librarians?!? JFC! I’m not anti-admin but this seems top heavy. We need people who have direct contact to build relationships
@akbusybee @WPray_ Definitely agree with Piktochart. I never knew how versatile of a program is was until I completed a project for it this semester. Great resources and options like Canva as well!
A concept: little free libraries with all banned books in them. Encouraging reading freely and supporting the authors whose works are being baselessly removed from shelves #BannedBooks#FReadom
