@t1nymoony I had a girl with legs like this in one of my university classes. She would wear shorts and skirts and didn’t care. We never talked but she still inspired me to stop shaving. Proud of you for posting this ♥️ You never know who it could inspire
Replies like these really drive home the fact that domestic violence is better understood as a form of terrorism against women - a specific kind of violence deeply intertwined with an identifiable sociopolitical ideology tens of millions of American men are deeply invested in
I don’t understand how people just accept this. My mom told me stories about when she worked in an old folks home. The women would come in to clean the men’s rooms, and some of them with dementia would just start masturbating in front of them and they’d have to run out. But because they had dementia, no one ever did anything about it!! I so don’t get it 😭
@msmuffin83 I got the best results so far from this recipe and it was so easy! I tried using some tiktok lady’s recipe first and it was horrible 😭

it’s crazy how much americans do not give a fuck about fresh bread. until i moved to a bigger city, we didn’t even have anywhere to go buy fresh bread! but even now, a good round loaf where i am is like $9-12. i started this year making my own bread and it rules
Through the lens of postcolonial feminism, Salwa explores the layers of oppression Sahrawi women face and their pivotal role in the struggle for liberation. Read "Resilience and Resistance: Sahrawi Women’s Struggle Against Colonialism and Patriarchy" on page 67 of Total Woman Victory, linked below.
Got pulled in to lesbian sex/kink discourse today, and later while researching older radfem writings, I randomly came across this. I guess there will always be libfems trying to tear down radfem values… but damn, this is so evil 😭
@Suburbi79439900 I’ll definitely look into that, but one person’s cashew consumption doesn’t really make a difference if restaurants and other places are buying them in bulk from sources that aren’t fair trade
I can’t eat cashews anymore after reading about how they’re harvested. There’s over 500,000 women in India that work to remove the nuts from the fruit that’s so acidic it burns their skin away. Just knowing you can buy a BAG of them and there’s only one nut per cashew fruit is so insane
@ThoughtPower1 In this case, it would need to be a campaign for them to be paid hourly. The women CAN use gloves, but they make them de-shell slower, and they get paid by the kilo. Most of them choose not to wear the gloves because they can’t afford to lose out on the extra money. :(
make sure to check out my article on NATO & UN interventionism, its role in expanding the global industrialization of sexual exploitation and the oppression of women under world imperialism in @TWVnewsletter, crucial points being made for NATO and prostitution abolition.
@jonincentex_ How do we demand that they enact greater protections and more pay if they know they can just keep doing what they’re doing and we’ll keep buying it? It would have to involve an organized boycott of some sort unfortunately
my moms job emailed her to remind her that they can’t call out for “bad weather” 🤪 meanwhile my friends job was like “you don’t have to come in yall it will not be safe”
