@randypicker I think you are correct in that NFTs do not actually block copying of work, rather the value is in authentication of ownership and/or originality. Ultimately there needs to be authentification of chain of custody through either a custodial service or 3rd party verification.

@randypicker Re:gas fees, as the use cases and markets expand I think we see new players beyond ETH who have already solved the problem (ie. Hedera has locked $.00001 per transaction cost) as leaders, which will force ETH to either adapt or be a niche service to only high cost transactions.
