To all web2 devs and other OpenSource devs: Yes, crypto can support your project now with fees generated by trading (where you don't need to do ANYTHING).
You now have two choices:
1) You can just be like @steipete and be close minded. Then go back to those VC assholes and hope by sucking their dick they give you any funding.
2) Or you can embrace crypto, at least appreciate the community forming around your project which supports you with trading fees. Every trader knows it can go to 0. But at least they supported a good cause. And the only thing you need to do? Say thank you. Nothing more. Nobody tells you to be active with the community or anything. And you definitely don't need to invest your own money into crypto for that.
Times change, if you want to be close minded don't complain in a few years from now.
Peace out.
Sadly people will never understand that ETH doesn’t need any launchpads. ETH needs innovation and not idiots launching bullshit on launchpads only to make the launchpads extract valuable ETH from the users.
But what about $uPEG and $PRISM? uPEG showed what is possible and that you can use a simple swap to create/destroy objects. Genius of them.
PRISM did the same, it showed that you can earn yield by holding. Triggered by a swap. No extra fees; splitted up LP position. Genius.
Why?
Because a bonding curve is already simple:
input ETH
calculate price
mint token
hold reserve
burn on sell
No need for v4 magic.
If hooks force extra routing, extra assumptions, and worse composability, they just added extra complexity lol.
SATO and derivatives like 01 are hook LARPs.
You don’t need a v4 hook to build a bonding curve. A normal contract could do it.
If your hook needs a custom router (sato needs it), it’s not elegant, it's cosplay. Hooks are genius when they remove complexity. SATO adds it.
@YashasEdu@RuneCrypto_ Well, it's his own project and/or he is heavily paid by them. So obviously he needs to spit out bs. But yes, this system is crap. Nobody serious would use it to hide their traces lol.
Sato is NOT v4 innovation boys and girls. All logic sato uses predates hooks and in fact using hooks for those mechanics makes it more complex than without. Genuine new v4-native stuff only came out of $uPEG $lo0p and $PRISM so far. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
@Songoku20312621 No you don’t. Bonding curve with mint/redeem are ancient tech. Nobody gives a shit about them and their liquidity. Stuff that worked on v2/v3 doesn’t need to be ported to v4 and be even more complicated with hooks than without. It can exist without the need of pretending.
@Songoku20312621 Dude sato is MUCH MORE complicated as v4 hook than it would be as v2/v3 token. What r u talking about? You have absolutely zero clue abt solidity nor how uniswap works
Somebody must be very mad that he absolutely cannot create something as simple and really hook-native like $uPEG and $PRISM onchain. That's why he tries to shove sato, quill, pitch, and now 01 (https://t.co/bSTAPGFERI) down your throat.
@Songoku20312621 Tell me why sato needed to be a v4 hook. Go on. Because it’s actually way more complicated as v4 hook than it would be as v2/v3 token. Tell me, I‘m curios.

@RuneCrypto_ farm, just as @quillcomputer and pitch. Hell just conpare writing style @quillcomputer and @zero1cash and you can’t unsee the similarities. Lmao
