@StarfieldGame I'm having issues with the quest 'Managing Assets'. It's telling me to deal with an operative however, when I get there, there is no NPC!? Are there any planned big fixes?
Christopher Nolan explains why he likes to listen to music when he writes:
βI listened to a lot of music when I write, not all the time, but I found many years ago that if I, as I'm embarking on a project, if I associate it orally with a piece of music that I'm listening to as I write, listening to that music at a later date will put me back into the groove of writing that particular project. So I use music, a lot of classical music, I mean a bit of everything really, but I do try to make certain associations with some of the things I'm writing because it's hepful to me to remind me of a particular mood that I'm trying to reach or a particular association.β

Jonathan Nolan was the 1st person to read the script for #Oppenheimer, says Christopher Nolan:
βI showed it first to my brother, who I've written with a lot over the years. I didn't write with him on this but I showed it to him and took his advice and everything. And the thing he said to me right away is that I finally found a way to make people read the stage directions.
Because in a screenplay, you have stage directions, and then you have the dialogue. And if you read a lot of scripts, as people in Hollywood do, you wind up just reading the dialogue. So films tend to be told through dialogue.
But my films have always relied on the visual. The've always relied on the stage directions. Things like the haircut of the character, telling you where you are in time and those sorts of things. So you have to read the stage directions quite carefully. And in a regular script, they tend not to grab you. They tend not to make you feel that you have to read that paragraph, that sets up where the scene is and what's going on in the scene.
But when you write it in the first person, you immediately feel you have to read all those things because it's like reading thoughts or voiceover. And I knew that with this project, I wanted to be in Oppenheimer's head, but I didn't want to use voiceover.
And so writing the script in the first person, it gave me the feeling of voiceover so that the stage directions seemed like his thoughts.β
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Starfield
I don't think I've felt as immersed by a game this much since RDR2, about 4 hours in my save so far and it's been magical to play a new BGS RPG, It feels GIGANTIC, being able to go on any planet and just walk around and find interesting shit like a random ass cozy camp or an ancient NASA missile feels so damn cool.
I wanna highlight the music and sound design real quick as both are incredible so far, the sound of ships as they enter the atmosphere is a highlight here, I haven't done much combat but so far it's good, not as good as like Cyberpunk's but fun in it's own way, I also really like the characters so far!
Can't wait to put a ton more playtime into this.
