I remember asking assistant coach Mo Cheeks, what’s harder to do? Workout after practice or before?? I only asked cuz by time I would get to the gym, Russ was already done in the morning and I usually got mine in after practice. Mo like, “coming in before practice is probably harder”…since then, it’s been my routine….a lot of people looked at the emotions on the court and thought Russ was loud, nah to me, he was quiet and methodical. He lead by example and once the lights were bright, he let everything out and experienced pure freedom. It was inspiring as his teammate and everywhere I went, I seen it inspire people from all walks of life, crazy thing is, he didn’t say much, he just showed up. For 18 years. This basketball life is sacred to us as professionals, what we put into that court means everything. Some of us wish we could go back and do things with a little more intent and some can just wipe their hands and be satisfied with the time spent. Who u gonna be? We know what zero was on…keep inspiring in the next phase of life champ. I don’t care what happens, can’t erase what it was…The first YNs, finals run in our early 20s, all star games, seeing each other get injured and bounce back, the bus rides, plane rides, card games, jokes and arguments, the whole thing, memorable!! …to the whole Westbrook family, Nina, the kids, mama Westbrook, big Russ, Ray, Donnell, everybody from luezinger high and ucla and many more that I’m forgettin, much love and Congratulations on a iconic career.

We'll stop talking about racism when Black people are no longer impacted by racism. Not a moment before

[Null @Vhoyde]

Black children having the space to follow their passions and not just gravitating to the highest paying option so they can take care of family is a good thing. It's what we fight for every day.

[5hahem @shaTIRED]

Y’all don’t notice that there’s always major racist backlash every time Black people make major accomplishments? From the moment Sinners started gaining traction in the box office. There’s also been bias because Ryan Coogler will eventually own the rights to the film.

🚨 KYRIE IRVING WARNED US ABOUT BILL GATES STEALING OUR WATER — AND NOW IT'S GETTING WORSE

NBA pro Kyrie Irving tried to warn us years ago.

He said it's "weird" that Bill Gates owns a ton of land and water in the U.S.

Now in Utah, Kevin O’Leary just got approval for a $100 billion AI data center in the desert. One facility that will use more energy than the entire state in a year and further drain the shrinking Great Salt Lake.

There are no federal limits on how much water data centers can use.

At the same time, Kyrie also talked about how celebrity culture is fake... that a lot of famous people are just “NPCs” acting and don’t stand on any real principles.

Jim Carrey has said similar things in the past.

Kyrie was called crazy for saying all this.
Now it’s all playing out in real time.

What do you think... was Kyrie onto something?

Imagine future generations learning about how we punished the people asking to stop a genocide, instead of the people committing it.

The older I get, the more I notice something… intelligent people are polite to everyone. But they trust almost no one.

The tragedy isn’t that Trump is insane.
The tragedy is that everyone around him is too fucking cowardly to stop him.

When you leave your people uneducated and deliberately uninformed simply because you want to manipulate them, a time will come when your enemies will manipulate them against you.

America will be 250 years old in a little over a month and is just as racist and oppressive as it was when it was founded.
