#WorldAIDSDay: Honouring Lives, Breaking Chains ♥️

Today, we remember the beautiful souls we've lost to HIV/AIDS—cherished lives that inspire us to fight for a future free from the shadows of stigma. Let their memory fuel our commitment to dismantling prejudice and building a world where no one bears the weight of judgment.

🌈 As we reflect on the lives cut short, let's unite against the stigma that still haunts those living with HIV. Every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported without fear or discrimination. It's time to replace stigma with compassion, ignorance with understanding, and judgment with love.

🤝 Join the movement to break the chains of silence and ignorance. By sharing stories, fostering empathy, and educating ourselves and others, we pave the way towards a future where no one battles HIV alone.

♥️ Today, we stand as a global community, linked by empathy and compassion. Let's channel our grief into action—advocating for comprehensive education, accessible healthcare, and a stigma-free world.

🔗 Together, we can be the architects of change. Our collective voice can shatter the silence and create a world where every person is embraced with love, irrespective of their HIV status.🌍💙

🏳️‍🌈🌍💚 #WorldMentalHealthDay 💚🌍🏳️‍⚧️

Today, we unite to break the silence, end the stigma, and promote mental wellbeing for all LGBTQ+ people. 🗣️💪 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

🧠 Mental health is just as important as physical health. Let's remember to be kind, compassionate, and understanding to ourselves and those around us. 💕

💡 Educate yourself, check in on friends and loved ones, and prioritise self-care. It's okay to not be okay, but it's even better to seek help and support when needed. 🤗

🌟 Together, we can make a difference. Let's raise awareness, share our stories, and build a world where mental health is treated with the same importance as any other health issue. 🌐

Anti-LGBTQ+ hate crimes are on the rise. If you are a victim of a hate crime there's many ways you can report it and get support.

Online - The police have developed an online portal for reporting hate crime called True Vision. The online form is easy to understand and asks for details about the incident (where, motivation, how many people etc). Once the form has been submitted it is processed by your local police force, and an officer will aim to contact you within 48 hours.

Calling 101 - This is the national non-emergency number for the police. You can report a hate crime by calling and asking for the Community Safety Unit. They also provide help and advice about your situation. This is also available for the deaf or hard of hearing via a textphone service on 18001 101.

In person - It’s also possible to report a hate crime at your local police station. This allows you to speak to an officer face to face.

Through a third party - Galop, the LGBTQ+ anti-violence charity, can report an incident on your behalf, and offer you support after an incident.

For more information, advice and support you can visit the LGBT HERO hub on https://t.co/94dO2iOqDP or contact Galop via https://t.co/C454FxZOQl

LGBTQ+ people make up a small percentage of the population. Our ability to freely love someone, get married, have a family, to lead a happy and healthy life relies on allies standing up and helping to protect our hard fought rights. We can't do this on our own.
