After an 11 hour ride up to Killin on Saturday & a long day at bike racing yesterday had a 'lazy' day - a walk along Glen Lochay this afternoon and to Loch Tay this evening - 10 miles in total. Early evening drink at pub on the way home & one of the best pizzas I've ever had.
Great day at British Superbikes at Knockhill in Fife. The weather was a bit different to the last couple of years - 2nd photo was 2024 & last year was similar. This year we got sunburn.
Stopped to look at the views at beautiful Loch Earn on the way home.
@MirandaCColes We're at bike racing at Knockhill in Fife today & it's too hot for me - makes a change from the last couple of years when it's been very wet - so I definitely couldn't cope with the temperatures at home.
We've got a spare room so see you soon π
Hello Killin. Our 26th holiday here! Our little 18th century cottage (pity about the bins) and the view from the front door at 10.30. We're not usually home from the pub that early on a Saturday night, but all the pubs here close at 10!
@MirandaCColes@ktboldy Thanks Miranda.
Hoping to avoid the World Cup next couple of weeks. I have absolutely no interest in football. The next England game is when we're in Scotland & the one after that we're in Northumberland & the pub we go in has no TV.
Another dry day - they've been quite rare recently - so made the most of the weather with a visit to Hickling NWT. There was a World Swallowtail Day event so quite busy and we did see several swallowtails.
