El Lunes 5 pasado un grupo de niños, de los Barrios El Espejo y la Aduana, se encontraban jugando carnaval en el sector “La Burra” cuando fueron interceptados por la Policía del Municipio Bolívar, cuyo director es José Gregorio Cano, quien los detuvo sin justificación y les atribuyó estar celebrando la detención de #MaduroDictador. La fiscal Jesmit Milano, los presentó ante el juez de control 1 de Responsabilidad Penal del Niño, Niña y adolescentes siguiendo instrucciones del fiscal de la tortura @TarekWiliamSaab y les imputó Asociación para Delinquir, Incitación al Odio y Traición a la Patria. La "juez" INDIRA ORTIZ, les dictó Medida de Privación de Libertad dejándolos recluidos en el Centro de Reclusión del Barrio Las Casitas de Barcelona donde no cuentan con las condiciones mínimas de higiene para la reclusión de niños y hay un numero indeterminado de adultos privados de libertad.
Fuentes señalan que les sembraron evidencias como piedras y botellas que no tenían.

Where were all the “Venezuela experts” the last 26 years as my country fell apart? Those new voices that have appeared out of nowhere to claim ownership of “truths”?

Where were you when we sent boxes upon boxes of medicines and food as my country starved and our friends and family died without the basic care they needed?

Did you answer the pleas of hundreds of thousands (now millions) of Venezuelans desperate to find a life outside the misery of collective impoverishment and violence brought on by a criminal regime?

Were you robbed of your home, livelihood, family, friends, present and future?

Was it you who answered message upon message of Venezuelans writing and whispering in your ear, “Please help me. They’re killing us”.

Did you embrace them as they hugged and cried on you? A chain of strangers sharing a trauma that bonded you forever.

No, it wasn’t. You haven’t lived what we have. You haven’t cried our tears. You don’t know our story and you don’t understand it.

If you did, you would not attack us for doing the impossible to end the real war against us- the one that was waged 26 years ago.

Talk to a Venezuelan. Don’t assume to know it all. Be humble. Empathize with our pain. Let the real experts do what they need to do.

We can’t and won’t tolerate one more second of this- much less 26 more years of pain and misery.

We desperately need this to end.
