When thoughts and recollections arise, keep the presence of your own true nature – do not create any difference between the water and the wave!

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s Condolence Message on the Earthquake in Venezuela
I have been deeply saddened by the devastation wrought by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, in which so many precious lives have been lost and many more have been injured. I offer my prayers for those who have perished, and express my heartfelt sympathy and concern to all who have been affected by this tragedy.
At our core, we are all the same human beings. We all seek happiness and wish to be spared such suffering. It is in this spirit of our shared humanity that we each bear a responsibility to help and support one another. I am therefore greatly encouraged that hundreds of international rescue workers have already arrived in Venezuela to stand alongside its people to help in this hour of profound grief.
I would also wish to say how deeply moved I remain by the openness and enthusiasm shown by people from all walks of life in Venezuela — during my four-day visit in 1992 — toward the values I have been promoting: loving-kindness, compassion, contentment, self-discipline, and harmony among the world's religious traditions. That same warmth of spirit, I have no doubt, will carry the Venezuelan people through this most difficult time.
With my prayers,
Dalai Lama

Family life is not meant to take us away from God but to bring us closer to Him. Use it for that purpose, without worrying unnecessarily.
MATA AMRITANANDAMAYI
First, space, which has been an open dimension since the beginningless beginning, and pristine awareness, are indivisible. Pristine awareness denotes that aspect within the discerning capacity of the mind that has been there since the very beginning.

Don’t tie yourself up by focusing upon a target.
Be spontaneously free, without a goal: this is crucial.
Don’t be distracted from the birthless condition.
Seal yourself with “nothing to cling to.”
~ Shense Lhaje
Every morning and evening perform Japa and meditation with a cool brain. It is not an easy task. Compared to meditation, it is easier to till a plot of land.
HOLY MOTHER SRI SARADA DEVI
This life is all superficial reality: don’t wallow in hope and fear, but train in everything being an illusion! In order to benefit beings in the future you must cultivate the bodhisattva resolve!
~ Padmasambhava
When you understand that the innate nature, free from bias & partiality, is present in yourself, there is no difference between great + small learning. Even though your body, the support for the mind, falls apart, the dharmakaya of awareness wisdom is unceasing.
~ Padmasambhava
Awareness wisdom has not arisen from within.
How sad is this ignorant and deluded mind!
It perceives the formless phenomena as concrete and having attributes.
I openly confess this in the natural space of wisdom.
~ Chokgyur Lingpa
His Holiness the Dalai Lama reminds us: a peaceful world starts with a peaceful mind. Loving kindness and compassion aren’t just spiritual practices they are the very foundation for humanity’s survival.Inner peace is the path to outer peace. #DalaiLama#PeaceBeginsWithin #Compassion
Well, you may then ask, “What is the difference between buddhas and sentient beings?” It is nothing other than realizing or not realizing mind. The substance of the awakened state, of buddha, is present within you, but you don’t recognize it.
~ Padmasambhava
Ānanda, the Tathāgata does not appear to all sentient beings, but spiritual friends will appear and teach the Dharma, planting the seed of liberation. For this reason, you should consider spiritual friends as superior to the tathāgatas.
