If Senate Republicans can block an independent commission investigating a deadly armed attack on the Capitol because it might hurt their poll numbers with insurrectionists, then something is badly wrong with the Senate. We must get rid of the filibuster to protect our democracy.
The main issue is how they continue to push the “Big Lie” when they have no proof whatsoever. The supporters of tRump need to see this and need to come to the realization that tRump and his administration have been lying from the beginning. He lost! Get over it!
Nearly half of all seniors over the age of 75 have hearing loss. Yet in America today, 75% of seniors who need hearing aids don't have one. Why is that? Because of the price tag. It's time we expand Medicare to cover hearing aids, dental care, and eyeglasses.
Antisemitism has no place in our country or world.
Neither does Islamophobia.
That means standing together and condemning all forms of bigotry and hate.

I’ve been told to “wait your turn” all my life. That’s a familiar phrase that so many women with big ideas hear. But thankfully, we’ve ignored it and broken barriers as a result.
