figure skater and sadly fs obsessed| kimmy repond and Jana horcickova truther by heart, collecting underrated skaters | new account but not new to fstwt
@9rosse@lutzdestroyer If you are talking about me here I see his jumping ability’s and I can acknowledge them his other skating aspects need some work tho and he is clearly overscored in specific points but his jumping ability again is insane and I do see that and am not denying it
stop acting like you care about women’s safety. The number of women in this sport who speak up about their abuse or young girls becoming victims of pedophilia is disgustingly increasing so maybe use your platform to try and give them a voice and check your priorities
At congress today, much lip service was paid to athlete safeguarding.
Well, the IOC recently ruled that sport gov bodies may no longer force women to compete against males in the women's category.
Yet I don't believe @ISU_Figure (nor any nat'l skating fed) has even acknowledged this or updated their rules.
Here's a chance for ISU to show some courage and protect women's sports & women's private spaces at their events. I suspect they're too afraid of the vile online mob on the other side of this issue however. // Watch the quotes/replies on this tweet for examples of said mob.

everyone at 2028 super duper extra special mega worlds in beijing china where every skating event is held in a mega super event at the end of a season that was already 8 months long
talking about “protecting women’s sports” from hypothetical trans people when eteri is very real and continues to abuse girls while being lauded for it is just deeply unserious and you need to take a good long look at your priorities
@m120204 I’m not even that mad over it it just annoys me I have other reasons why I don’t like ilia I still stand by my point😭 but people have heavily insulted me and send me threats over my post so I’m kind of emotionally worked up right now
@lutzilia@malininlvr just showed this even more. But it was meant to criticise how much the isu seems to fixate on him not at ilia I have other things to criticise ilia over
@lutzilia@malininlvr I could have definitely worded that better I didn’t think of it at that moment but what I originally meant by that was that the isu seems to put ilia on a sort of Podest all of their marketing is just ilia atp and ilia being the only one (for now but still) to get an award
@suggestme_name@pianofs I hope there will be more awards but it still seems like they put ilia on this big Podest and phrasing it “we don’t usually do world records” when giving him the award is just taking away from other skaters in my eyes
@recordsplayin Yeah no again it’s disrespectful to other skaters to say that no one breaks records thats taking away from others achievements and no I’m not just a fanyu that got mad I’m thinking of multiple skaters here that the isu just seems to never ever acknowledge
@lutzdestroyer@9rosse it just feels like they are putting ilia on this big Podest tbh and yeah the isu does phrase things weird and I just thought that how they phrased this award was disrespectful to other skaters which is honestly expected from them
@recordsplayin He can be celebrated for his achievements my problem is them acting like he is the first to do something big and world record like in this sport which is just not true
omg just stfu 💔 this reopened my wound of ilia getting an award just made for him.. like yes his jumps are insane but it’s so so disrespectful to other skaters I feel like they just made this award cause their fav boy needed some recognition after flopping at the Olympics
@TheMist43950197 I’m not drowning in a glass of water 😭 I’m just sick of repeating myself and them basically saying ilia is the first to achieve a world record has nothing to do with there being no awards before this
omg just stfu 💔 this reopened my wound of ilia getting an award just made for him.. like yes his jumps are insane but it’s so so disrespectful to other skaters I feel like they just made this award cause their fav boy needed some recognition after flopping at the Olympics
