My thoughts on Oscar incident, our school board just voted to destroy an environmentally sensitive ecosystem for a plan that will increase taxes and based on false information.

During Speaker @RepRozzi's Listening Tour, PA voters gave examples of important legislation stalled by individual legislative leaders. On Feb. 27, #PAHouse will vote on rules for 2023-2024 session. For the sake of all PA, we're asking for better rules. #FixHarrisburg
@nprfreshair@mrichtel Every school district could have expert mental help assistance available. We can work to create partnerships with mental health providers and also create opportunities, for example a "supported lunch", a small group, peer or professional led lunch hour session.
@nprfreshair@mrichtel Also, for eating disorders in particular the current treatments, like those pushed at local facility, The Renfrew Center, can do more harm than good.
@nprfreshair@mrichtel And the problem is huge on weekends when there is very little treatment options available. Most group and out-patient day treatment is only during the week.
@nprfreshair We also need to add 2 15-mnute breaks to the day through 12th grade, more time outside, more group activities, less competitive activities and more cooperative.
@nprfreshair Also, standardized tests are a huge waste of time and money. We need to move to a curated final exam, peer reviewed and help students succeed, not monetize students.
@nprfreshair We did a poll of our HS students, number one reason for stress and anxiety, too much homework. AP classes need to have a lab/study hall. We need to go to a 5 class day with after school homework help for all.
@nprfreshair As former school board president, we have been dealing with this issue for 10 years, the pandemic exposed it, it did not cause it. Too much homework, too short class times, overcrowded classes, too little time outside, and too early start time.
@Walmart shopping for community organization and order @Barbie Malibu House for $50, order canceled, and price increased to $140. Find again online for $50, once again order canceled, and price increased to $140. What a crappy policy. We will have a very sad little girl.
@MSNBC Voting in Luzerne County, PA extended to 10pm due to running out of paper. Maybe the Republican controlled county needs better prepared people? What a farce.

@CNN@cnnbrk It is almost as if the Republican controlled county did not want people to vote and has to be forced by a Judge. 2 precincts were turning away voters this morning & refused to allow them to vote in West Hazleton, PA and now this

@RepLisaMcClain Really? How are working families going to afford to live with low wages, no childcare, no healthcare, no pensions, no retirement, no family leave, no sick days? All those are Republican policies. Democratic policies support working families, Republicans support dark money donors
@Jim_Jordan No they don't. You and the market makers may miss him, the rest of us are happy to have an adult back in the White House. The stock market is based on fictional profits. And when corporations can manipulate their profit and loss via archaic accounting rules, not trump
@ChesCoDems how is it possible you call something a permanent record and then say will be deleted after 30 days? Since questions were shut down and no chat, the only way we can ask questions is Twitter?
@ChesCoDems wants to limit comments on proposed bylaws to 2 speakers for and 2 against, limiting free speech, totally undemocratic and violation of 1st Amendment per court
