🚨 EXCL: Tottenham reach verbal agreement to sign Andy Robertson, here we go!
Pact expected to be respected and deal to be signed soon despite Juventus proposal to try hijack the deal.
Robertson, wanted by #THFC last January and again now with De Zerbi.
It’s happening. ✅🏴
Toby Alderweireld on Cuti Romero:
“I think he’s an unbelievable player, in moments. For example, with the red cards, you don’t help your team. When your team needs you, you need to be the captain steering the ship, not putting it in more trouble. He’s a very good player but he should have done better in some situations.
“For me, centre backs are players you need to count on, to be flawless, not crazy. Win your battles, be secure, that’s the number one. Long balls, passes between the lines, of course that’s a plus, but the basic is to be secure. A captain has to be aware not to — I don’t say he’s causing trouble — but not to be a risk to himself. I call them trustful leaders. You need to be a calm person.” [Times]

How anyone who has watched Tottenham Hotspur all season and seen week-after-week wrong decisions made by either on-field referee’s or VAR, cannot say it levels itself out across the campaign.
It hasn’t and won’t, we have got the national media, referees and the world against us.
A THREAD of the APPALLING and ABHORRENT decisions made by referee Robert Jones during #thfc’s 1-0 defeat at Sunderland today. 🧵⤵️
Beginning with Brian Brobbey’s late tackle on Cristian Romero, which saw no card given. 🤦♂️ https://t.co/8iKZ2QupZM
I'm not arguing we deserved anything today but I've seen incidents like this go against us all season
Spurs definitely get the raw deal from officials compared to others sides.
When your lucks not in, it's not in.
Another factor that adds to our current position
Can you imagine the wider reaction if Romero did this?
Brobbey may have just ended Romero’s season and World Cup. Kinsky sliced his head open.
While on a yellow for purposefully elbowing Pedro Porro in the face.
No words anymore.
Alex Scott ran the show yesterday for Bournemouth.
Pace, intensity, ability to move the ball & progress forward all looked top draw.
He's a known Spurs fan & a number 8 that could unlock a lot of things for the impending rebuild at Tottenham.
