Just imagine what it must be like to hold a position of power or influence at the most critical moment in the history of our species, & then use that power or influence to downplay, distract & lie - jeopardizing the actual future of life on this planet - just to make a few quid.
Other than @GeorgeMonbiot, why is the media not interested in ex-RCP (now Spiked) types infiltrating the Conservatives?
Johnson’s Head of Policy: ex-RCP; he sent ex-RCP Claire Fox to the Lords; & Sunak was a governor at an ex-RCP-founded school.
Who is pulling Rishi’s strings?
2010: ‘we need to make tough decisions’
2015: ‘we need to make tough decisions’
2020: ‘we need to make tough decisions’
2023: ‘we need to make tough decisions’
The Tories have been pushing this narrative while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
When will it end?
Elon Musk might not be able to effectively manage Twitter, build a Hyperloop, or fly a rocket into space without exploding. But at least the business that brought him global fame and wealth can deliver on its core promises, right?
Wrong.

Breaking:
Home secretary, Suella Braverman has ordered 10,000 tents to house Britain's who lose their home due to interest rate rises.
The £15 billion contract (£150,000 per tent) has been awarded to an Australian billionaire who recently donated £100,000 to the conservatives.
Politicians can now keep donations up to £11,000 completely hidden.
The question is why would they want to?
And why should they be able to?
Michael Gove‘s move legalises and anonymises corruption.
Rishi Sunak is in Wrexham today.
I asked I could interview him. I was told no.
We are easily the most read Welsh news source, but apparently no interview. 🤷
I was told the same when he came to the Welsh Tory spring conference.
Dodge, dodge, dodge.

Every now and then someone has a go at Vorderman for her past work with the Tory’s. The good thing about being a grownup, living in a democracy is you can *change your mind* and even better if you’re someone people listen to so you can hopefully, change the mind of others too.
This is a man who worked for 20 years before becoming a series regular, nearly 30 before becoming a household name. He did regional theater, voiceover for commercials and anime dubbing in the meantime. He knows what it’s like to be a working actor. Listen to him!
Take that in. Then try wrapping your head around the fact that we’re only seeing the beginning of a destabilising planet, while remembering that GHG emissions are still rising and the companies largely causing this are making record profits.
A bit concerning, don’t you think?
I’ve developed a lot of projects over the years. Someone is going to have to explain to me how you manage to spend $30m on development, because I don’t think I could manage it, even in a Brewster’s Millions type of situation.
