@MartinSLewis I do get annoyed at the yearly charade they insist we go through, where they give me an unreasonably expensive renewal quote, I phone them and tell them I’m not paying that and they pretty much match the previous year’s premium

@MartinSLewis I’ve been with the RAC for breakdown cover for 14 years and only used their services for the first time last month. I’m sure @MartinSLewis would despair, but one reason I’m still with them and haven’t moved is the incredibly satisfying membership number I was issued by chance!

@TheLeeMcLaren Ask them what they feel their areas for development are. I’m doing my tech-para and I’ve found there’s an assumption that because I’ve been a tech I don’t need any real input other than guidance with cannulation. Focus has been very much more on paramedic skills, not knowledge

To me it makes sense to get resources travelling early and stood down if not required rather than wait for a crew to arrive, get kit, get into the house and then call for backup

@Chris_Riggers Potential to avoid unnecessary ED admissions for things like TIA and vertigo if utilised correctly. However for obvious FAST+ve pts, whilst there might be an improvement in door to needle time, that possibly comes at the expense of time on scene while a Teams call is made

@thereadingpara I’ve recently left my rota with 8 days off every 9 weeks and am back on relief. I’m going to have to make a conscious effort to book some chunks of time off - I’m really struggling without my scheduled breaks!

@MisterScottish @steve_paramedic I’ve tried the Manta4 and it’s *so* much better than our issues Pacifics. Can’t wait for them to reach us on on road. Well designed and proper fitting PPE that is appropriate for the job is a must!
