Just wanted to thank all of you that have sent messages after my time at #DRFC came to an end. It wasn't an easy decision to walk away from a club that has deeply embedded itself into my heart and soul over the last 15 years, since I first started covering it for the Free Press.

The last 12 months haven't been easy and there's a few reasons why I've moved on but I'm two weeks into a fantastic new job, in a completely different world, and I'm already sure that it's been the right decision for me and, most importantly, my family.

@Filo221963 @DecMcA And those not able to attend had access to the full event 38 hours after it finished. Truthfully, it'd have been online sooner but yesterday's signing took priority so it was sat on private in the channel from mid-afternoon on Tuesday.

@Filo221963 @DecMcA It's nothing to do with YouTube views. It's to ensure complete clarity. At the DFP I had the scope to summarise on the night and follow up in the days after. At the club, there is a greater necessity to ensure whatever is said is presented in the full context.
