First calver we raised on the bucket. Put an Angus on her for an easy calving, gave us a panic as she didn't look to be ready to calve. Managed it all on her own while we were bedding down stores. Pt1

Great to be back home with the family for Easter and to spend some time on our farm. Working away makes you appreciate home and family a lot more.

Happy Easter ☀️🐣

Checking up on the cow and calves that have been turned out so far. Overcast but still nice and warm.

@steeknchip Brilliant Lucy, cracking lambs 👍🏻

On to the next place. Pedigree Lim and commercial cattle farm, a nice change from the lambing. Performance recording is key here, I'll be here for the next few weeks.

First morning outside and they are bloody loving life, as a farmer there is nothing better than seeing new born animals running around
