Writing a new one post 🧵.
Title: Ma City: ARMY defending BTS’ heritage on native soil.
It’s about the new Busan trouble.

Mind you with the amount of fans flying into the country, it will help boost economy.
Other countries don’t even care about using the taxpayers money to sponsor this kind of events because they make the money back, but look at this foolish country?
anyway the k army are mad too and saying no more concerts in Busan and reminding everyone the incumbent mayor got voted out in the election and will be on the street soon
Busan Government still owes money to BTS but they still dont wanna take responsibility of the safety and crowd control of thousands of tourists in the city? Isnt it tragic how they treat their country's cultural asset? The world treats BTS like royalty, forces were deployed in mexico when BTS visited the national palace but their own home country doesnt give a single fck? And that city from where 2 come from? The disrespect is INSANE. The toxicity and fake superiority complex that flows within these people is baffling.
I'm sick of these narratives.
Hybe is responsible of the safety inside the stadium they are renting, alongside with the stadium's staff.
Outside, ARMY are tourists booking hotels, eating in restaurants, buying goods in stores, visiting sites... The city then is responsible.
I've had this uncomfortable feeling since March. SK is intentionally setting BTS and Hybe up for a disaster. The way the gov & citizens are moving feel like they WANT a disaster to happen. Their hate for BTS far outweighs their love for their country
i wonder what bts feels when they go oversees and see multiple organizations working for traffic control, safety, local shops celebrating them, entirety of cities decorated for them, and then they come back to korea to celebrate the most important day ever just to be scrutinized, ridiculed and sabotaged.
why isnt the korean public doing anything about it? if korean armys are doing something, please share it with us we will amplify it but if they arent, its baffling and heartbreaking.
Tampa closed a whole street for ONE WEEK just for merch.
Mexico moved the police for a 5 minutes appearance.
SK takes Army’s money and can’t even provide Basic security.
some members of the national assembly were not pleased with the deal bts made with netflix either, because the government did not see any profit from it, and i think they are trying to take revenge for this. i think the busan government needs to pay its 7 billion won debt from 2022 first 🙂

🔴🚫😡 Pay attention to this, because this is a big 💣 one:
The Busan city gov ONLY started preparing for BTS FESTA on June 5, even though they had known about the event SINCE January. *Now they're trying to blame HYBE.* According to them, HYBE only provided the emergency action plan at the end of May. HOWEVER, HYBE is ONLY responsible for security INSIDE the event venue and stadium, since they rented the space! External security, crowd control, and traffic management are the responsibility of the local government‼️‼️
🔹️And Because Busan started preparations at the last minute, they ended up reducing personnel and are even relying on volunteers.
In particular, the city has faced controversy over the forced recruitment of public officials. During the recruitment process for approximately 900 city hall employees, the policy was announced unilaterally, which triggered internal opposition. When the public officials' union issued a statement demanding the withdrawal of mandatory staffing for a private event and protested to the deputy mayor, the system was changed to voluntary participation.
