@GeneseeReads Sweet gesture! I think i'm good for now! If i see more examples it will confuse me even more since now, the type of format i created, will work! Hope you're doing well! DM me sometime β¨
Any other library workers double masking aka n94 in offices with co-workers & n95 with dealing with the public (especially around unmasked toddlers)? Also, hello 2022!!!
Extremely thrilled to hear about the new friend, Ji-Young, a Korean American 7-year-old, on @sesamestreet π°π·ππ₯Ί As a Korean American myself & one advocating for a puppetry month at their library, I could not be more stoked!

I just enrolled in my last course (I will be only focusing on my portfolio) & I will be receiving my MLIS in May 2022 after starting my journey at the beginning of the pandemic, January 2020... It's been a wild ride, but I'm ready for this chapter to be over! #librarytwitter
Some people arenβt meant to find purpose in work. Youβre meant to clock in, clock out, enjoy the benefits, and lead a low stress life with the people who fill you up
If this is you, my recommendation is to stop trying to prove yourself in a job that robs you of your peace
@CalupcaMichelle I wish it could have been the other way around (aka start at a small unincorporated library then off to county...) - thank you, I'm holding on and breathing through it!
What is the remedy to feeling disconnected from the community you are serving? I started this job 3 months ago (next week) and every day, I'm confounded at how different working at a county library system to an unincorporated library is. It's extremely disorienting... help?
Which library conferences have you gone to? Any recommendations? I have a professional development budget to attend conferences, and once in-person conferences are a thing, I would love to choose wisely & especially would love input from BIPOC/Queer folks! #librarytwitter
"The User Is Not Broken: A meme masquerading as a manifesto" was posted in 2006 - still SO relevant - what would you add? https://t.co/R3F0S665S2

When @JudgeJudy tells you that itβs never too late & to have fun, you listen. Librarianship is my second career, and often, as a 34-year-old, I feel like I came into this career too late. But clearly, there are many other people in the same boat. I'm stoked to be here, period.
