Today's adventure with @AlaskaAir has me wishing I wasn't a mileage plan member. I am traveling to a conference in AK in May. I have a discount code from the conference. Yesterday (while waiting to board an Alaska flight), I tried to figure out where to put it on checkout...

Yep. @AlaskaAir took my money, told me to cancel, told me it'd take 1-2 billing cycles for the charges to be reversed on my ALASKA AIR credit card, and then RAISED the price by 17% for my booking 30 minutes later, more than offsetting my 5% discount code. Absolute BS.
