A new evaluation of our pioneering art in policy programme MANIFEST - supported by @ahrcpress - suggests art can:
* bring out human elements in policy systems

I've been seeing a lot of 'tweets' of people's pet peeves. This made me think of this advice from @timminchin "Be demonstrative and generous in your praise of those you admire. Send thank-you cards and give standing ovations. Be pro-stuff, not just anti-stuff."
What I am loving right now is reading on Facebook the beautifully articulated thoughts of my 92 year old father to a very right wing cousin. Growing up in an indigenous community means our view of the indigenous voice is very different to some.
Two weeks ago our phones, my iPad and our car were stolen from our house while we slept. I've been tracking my phone ever since. It's on quite an adventure and I feel like I should be getting postcards.
For the next two weeks my storytelling card deck will be on sale. I have only 28 decks left and don't forget if you buy 2 or more you get another $5 off. Share far and wide https://t.co/cee9COkVw1 #designstories#carddecks
@albanvillamil I confess I'm very guilty of doing this 🤦♀️. Usually I completely miss the message box but then I only connect with people I have had an interaction with and mostly through the design and research community I manage.
I emailed a friend today and got a reply from their EA, who booked me in for a chat next month. A small part of me wanted to say 'don't you know who I am?' but instead graciously accepted the meeting invite and the gift of their time
@MST_Writes My eldest son did the same thing. In the ACT it's an accredited stream instead of tertiary. He was much better for the choice and without the pressure he discovered he's a good student and loves to learn (his words).
Building service design capability doesn't always = training everyone to be a service designer
Focusing just on practitioner skills can mean raising people up to a glass ceiling, only to get squashed by a lack of buy-in and resistance
Here's how to do it

Yesterday I took my Dad to farewell his oldest friend. They met in 1948 when they were 17, had birthdays a day apart and remained great mates until his friend's death 10 days ago at 92. I am in awe at their 75 years of friendship.
