@TTRadioOfficial Iโm a deputy head and my head without hesitation said I could work 0.8, I also leave at 2.30 on a Friday to pick up my children. He knows I make up the time and Iโm a lot happier.
Enjoyed listening to this podcast ๐๐พCreating more opportunities to read aloud in class has so many benefits including strengthening fluency.@libbyisaac@RuthevRuth
I think the 'Four Quarters Marking' approach by @dylanwiliam is fantastic. I implemented this in two schools I worked at as HoD, it helped focus our feedback & supported consistency & workload too.
Great blog by @C_Hendrick too https://t.co/qHaNLeNiKV
https://t.co/xOMmwU2nii Such an important listen. One thing we can do as classroom teachers is to create opportunities to read aloud as much as possible. Close the disadvantage gap which feels like it is just getting wider. @RuthevRuth
< NEW PODCAST > Brain Health + Improving Student Motivation by @TeacherToolkit > Our 140th interview is with Dr Andrew Curran, a paediatric neurologist and teacher CPD-speaker; focused on studying brain health and psycho-emotional health ... https://t.co/GmUoXGw75V
@pedoughty@EganCaitriona And mine, I used to go to work feeling completely exhausted, mine didnโt sleep at all, and still donโt that well. Your body just gets used to it, and I would go to bed at 7pm every now and again to just catch up a few hours. You will make it through, I promise!
Such a great conversation about retrieval with the one and only @KateJones_teach. Primary and secondary tips, what else would you do on your Saturday morning !
Our toddler race at Sports Day was the best EVER. They were so amazing. We know they've all been in training, especially our new found long distance runner @libbyisaac
