What we are witnessing is not protest suppression. It is a coordinated, unlawful federal deployment of military force against U.S. civilians. The President of the United States has ordered the California National Guard into active
Pete has endured more than most in choosing to serve. Through it, he has lead with grace and dignity. My heart is with Pete, Chasten, and their children today. No family should have to experience this.
Pete Buttigieg family was victims of anonymous false report to Family Services, investigated, separated and devastated and outraged.
Children were interviewed Chasten and Pete denied access. 24rs entire family interviewed then finally informed of false allegations. https://t.co/P0ZAsHgRgQ...
This is terrible. The hate that some hold in their heart is so toxic. Buttigieg is a powerful communicator and a force for good. That’s why he’s a threat.

Horrifying. These politically charged attacks have become too common in America. It cannot be normalized, and leaders on both sides of the aisle must condemn this.
Keeping Pete, Chasten, and their children in my thoughts this week.
This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious.
Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal. https://t.co/72wxaVLzVT
Zelenskyy: “All the hardships Russians are facing today should bring them closer to the realization that their war is real, that it's not just ‘stones falling from the sky,’ and that their war must end. Real negotiations are needed”

🔴 Ukraine signs contract for 600 German-made air defense missiles.
President Zelenskyy said that Kyiv has finalized an agreement with Germany for the production of 600 air defense missiles, utilizing American manufacturing licenses to bolster the nation's defensive capabilities over the coming period.
We and the Poles cannot be anything but partners and friends because we are neighbors. Hatred within society will only boost certain political ratings. This is a political struggle that could end in very dangerous escalation. Political dividends must not be gained from hatred.
We are defending Poland and Europe right now. Our warriors are dying. Our servicemembers choose a heroic name for their unit themselves, and as President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief, I must support them. Karol said, “You must revoke the decree.”
Beyond these historical issues, which, by the way, we discuss openly, there must also be respect for the present, for our army, and for the future. Without Ukraine, no one will be able to defend Poland. It is simply impossible. If there is no Ukraine, there will be no secure Poland either.

During the summit, all members of the G7 were aware of our operation in the Moscow region, had already seen the results, and supported Ukraine’s entirely just and appropriate responses. In my view, this was the first time the G7 had unanimously supported Ukraine and said that we needed to return to a stronger sanctions policy against Russia.
This came after the massive attack on Kyiv, during which it was not only our Christian holy site that was damaged. I showed them photographs of the Lavra and other sites. Everyone saw the Dormition Cathedral burning. They knew about the casualties.
After the G7 meeting, the U.S. President, Secretary Rubio, and I stayed to discuss all the additional issues. Many things, from reimposing sanctions to licenses for air defense production. This time, it became quite public that the U.S. team had responded positively to the issue of licenses for the first time.
Everyone agrees that we now have all the technical capabilities needed to begin producing missiles for Patriot systems. This requires licenses from the United States. What is needed now is President Trump’s personal approval. President Trump plans to ask U.S. defense companies to establish licensed production of air defense missiles in Europe and Ukraine.

ZELENSKYY: Ukraine has begun the process of bringing the war back to Russia.
Yesterday we struck oil refinery in Tyumen region, that’s already 2,070 km from our border.
We used brand-new drones with flight range of 2,500 km. They will soon be able to fly more than 3,000 km.
We will fly even further, beyond 3,000 km, because we know exactly where all Russian military plants, oil bases, gas storage facilities, and similar targets are located.
We need longer-range tools, and we are developing them right now. Of course, the number of our deep strikes into Russia will also increase every day.
Jestem z Polski, Jestem z Ukrainą!🇺🇦
Przepraszam cię Ukraino, za to co zrobił rezydent Polski. Ja stoję solidarnie z wami! Pomagać wam będę niezmiennie.
Prime Minister Meloni fires back at Trump:
“President Trump, these constant, unprovoked attacks are senseless.
As for my popularity, being your friend certainly has not helped it, nor does it depend on my relationship with you. My popularity depends on my ability to defend Italy’s national interest, and that is exactly what I have always done.
That is also what I did regarding the American military bases in Italy. Their use is governed by agreements that we have always respected, and that cannot be violated as long as I am Prime Minister. Italy remains a sovereign nation.
In any case, my popularity is none of your concern. I suggest you focus on yours.”
Yesterday, the President of Poland noted that the Order of the White Eagle is not an ordinary award. It is a symbol of the highest trust of the Republic of Poland. It signifies a special bond with the Polish state and the special gratitude of the Polish People. Such a symbol requires not only merit, but also respect for the values that form the foundation of our community.
Therefore, if it is considered that this special symbol may remain with Catherine II, Benito Mussolini, and Gerhard Schröder, then we in Ukraine will not argue with that.
Ukraine is grateful to the Polish People for their support and cooperation, which play a significant role in the struggle for our and your independence from Russia.
Ukraine never forgets solidarity and understands that cooperation between states and peoples in our region is one of the tangible security guarantees for Ukrainians and for each neighboring state.
Ukraine will continue to defend itself in this war unleashed by Russia, and we will undoubtedly achieve a dignified peace.
Ukraine is grateful to all peoples, states, and leaders who will continue to stand with us in the defense of freedom and who, together with Ukraine, will serve as guarantors of postwar peace in Europe and a new, real security.
Ukraine will remain open to all meaningful formats of engagement with Poland in order to try to avoid conflicting interpretations of the difficult and painful chapters of our shared past and to ensure proper respect for all innocent victims of the 20th century.
And Ukrainians are doing everything in our power to ensure that Europe does not suffer defeat in this century.
I am proud of our people and of EVERY Ukrainian warrior – of the millions of Ukrainian men and women who deserve unquestionable respect for the heroism the Ukrainian People have shown in defending themselves against Russian aggression.
We believed that the Order of the White Eagle, awarded in 2023, was meant for the Ukrainian People and our army. That is what was said at the time. Today, I sent the Order back to the President of Poland.
I believe the future will confirm the respect Ukrainians deserve.
Glory to Ukraine!
This week, we had productive work at the G7 Summit, at the meetings of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group and the European Council, and in bilateral meetings with partners. Every conversation focused on how to provide greater protection for our people, how to support our warriors, and how to bring the end of the war closer.
Nine countries announced contributions to the PURL program totaling nearly $1 billion – thank you, this is exactly what is needed most right now. We also worked on pressure against Russia – there were new sanctions from the United Kingdom and Canada, and we are already actively engaged in dialogue with the EU to ensure that the 21st sanctions package comes sooner and restricts Russia precisely where it will be felt most.
Overall, following the UDCG meeting, partners announced $4 billion in new assistance for our country. We are returning home with new capabilities for defense. I thank all our friends who continue to support Ukraine. Every assistance package saves the lives of our people from Russian strikes and helps bring peace closer.
