hey besties 🌈✨ sooo sorry for the radio silence, I’ve been completely offline for the last week and a half and I feel SO guilty about it. I was up in San Francisco at this really beautiful, intentional lesbian conference (we’re calling it a “lesbian” conference still but we’re actively decolonizing that term) all about how many genders there actually are.

it was so affirming. we spent three full days in circle unpacking the spectrum and I left knowing there are at least 47 genders and probably way more once we fully unlearn the colonial binary. a lot of us were AFAB lesbians sitting with the tension of still being attracted to “women” while also knowing that gender is a social construct and anyone can be a woman if they say so. it was heavy but necessary work. I cried twice during the “what even is a lesbian” breakout session and then we all did a group breathwork to re-center.
