Last night @CopsOffCampusUT disrupted UT’s annual Gone to Texas event protesting the racist Eyes of Texas song, among many other demands including to get all cops off campus and divestment from the US military.

Chants included “Hey hey ho ho the Eyes of Texas has got to go!” “not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for war crimes!” “UTPD has got to leave!” And “no justice no peace” in front of practically the entire freshman class. Many of the students joined in.
