@FredaPeaches@chloecole Here is a question: if someone was to feed your DNA (post transition) into a Star Trek replicator, which "version" of you would come out the other side?
The "original" you, the way you were born? Or you new "true" self...?
@AmarisDidNoBad@GundamIsHere How do you identify with something which cannot genuinely "feel" any human emotions? Only mimic external behaviors in an attempt to lure prey...?
@Mangalawyer As always, the censors attempt to use "think of the children" as a shield for their behavior.
The director called them out on their tactics. No need to "think of the chillunz'" if this is a game that children aren't (legally) permitted to buy/play.
@PaperBagDev @Pirat_Nation Depends on how you define "horror". Especially in a cosmic sense.
Do you like your horror with "jump scares"? Do you like the ability to fight back? Do you want a supernatural eldrich entity you can only run away from helplessly..?
@bigmonkeong The same way how Pheonix Wright can (somehow) defeat Vergil, Dark Phoenix, and Dr. Doom in Marvel v. Capcom.
The power of bad writing and fanservice.
@Naboconodosor_@momiji_doa That wasn't the premise of your question; you never inquired about whether the game was "good"
You asked "Who plays this shit?" I answered with a numerical figure, based on verifiable data.
@Naboconodosor_@momiji_doa Over 40k concurrent players, if Steam metrics are accurate.
With a top player count of almost 200k simultaneous people "playing" this game.
@cheryls50099898 @katee_K1 @mcgmouton57 In some countries, the authorities will spray unruly mobs down with indelible dye/ink. It cannot be washed off, and makes for easy identification/arrest later in time.
@dessyfreakaz @LunarValkyria@LoKoKaBoosTeR69 There is a reason why books like "50 Shades of Grey" were on the top-sellers list for so long. And were heavily enjoyed and purchased by a VERY specific subset of the population...
@GachaChagama@ShitpostRock These were the same people who couldn't cheer loud enough about the "bear" scene from Baldur's Gate 3.
But if they didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have ANY standards at all....
@IIIHUSKIII@Rick_Wolfburn @IndieGamesOoC Definitely a very weak entry in the Persona, especially if you came into P5 right after a new run through Persona 4.
Feels like Atlus did not bring their A-team of writers, and many ideas felt like they were left on the cutting room floor.
@Erik_0209@SotirisGalanos@ShrimpDippa @GravyRaven24 At the end of the day, the audience voted with their wallets and their feet.
If nobody shows up to watch the show, it will get cancelled. Especially given the obscene amounts of money Disney wasted to make this.
@ShrimpDippa @GravyRaven24 Most people found it boring, preachy, or just plain disastrous to pre-established lore. Definitely not made for OG Star Wars fans.
The "audience" this show was obviously made for either (1) didn't watch the show; or (2) didn't pay enough to keep the show going.
