To whomever is reading this, Blake has passed. We learned on Nov 2nd that his cancer had spread to his brain. He was at home on hospice surrounded by his family when he left us. Cherish your family and be good to each other.
@GregSankey I know a lot of men joke about this but please listen to your body AND get routine checkups. I ignored having trouble swallowing. By the time I had a check up I was stage 4 esophageal cancer. Ironically the old poop shoot is cancer free.
If you put a snorkel on your new vehicle you are a douche-canoe.
You aren't taking your $70,000 Toyota Tundra anywhere where you will actually need that, Chad.
@FaytownHog I think since he is coaching at USC, I haven't even thought about him. If it was a more local team? Eh. Maybe. But I could (could not) care less about Cali teams.
@therealcounts Hey! I remember all my teammates from way back. We all went thru it together. Everyone was trying to make each other better.
I wasn't that great of an athlete so I had to work hard at it.
Happy Thanksgiving my friend!!
As a terminal cancer patient, I have come to grips with the concept of death. However, I have not accepted the finite time I have left. I would like to say I savor every moment, but I don't. But, I do savor certain moments. Thanksgiving is a big one.
Happy Thanksgiving, all.
Three horrible losses this week for Arkansas teams.
Ouachita Baptist lost to 0-9 Southern Nazarine
UCA lost to 0-9 Utah Tech
Razorbacks absolutely embarrassed.
Woof.
Some things I've noticed about having the 'you are screwed' cancer (stage 4 with Mets for me)
Doctors are really vague.
Scan results are always ominous. They are gonna err to a 'you are screwed' diagnosis.
Insurance companies really want you to 'move on out' if you get me.
