On December 2, the Japanese fishing vessel #瑞宝丸 illegally entered the territorial waters of China's Diaoyu Dao. “The #ChinaCoastGuard (CCG) vessel took necessary control measures against it in accordance with the law and warned it to leave,” said #CCG Spokesperson Liu Dejun on Tuesday.

Emphasizing that #DiaoyuDao and its affiliated islands are China's inherent territory, the spokesperson urged the Japanese side to immediately cease all infringement and provocation activities in the waters.

He added that the #CCG will continue to carry out rights protection and law enforcement operations in the waters of Diaoyu Dao and safeguard China's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.

It's a strategically important object as it supplies about 40% of petroleum products for Moscow metropolitan area.

The oil refinery is supposed to provide full independence to Moscow metropolitan area, including fuel needed by local airports.
