Dishonest spin!… Perhaps the most underreported scandal in American politics is that the leadership of the (GOP dominated) Texas House has been selected by DEMOCRATS for almost 20 years. Dade Phelan is now leaving office, and so he feels free to finally be open about it.

Just like Phelan, our current Speaker (Burrows) was also elected by James Talarico, voted to impeach Paxton, appointed a literal Democrat to be our Speaker Pro Tem, and has an OBAMA lawyer serving as our Parlimentarian.

It is not hyperbole that the Texas Legislature has been, and still is, controlled by DEMOCRATS.
