@LeahRossHenry I am struggling with this a little too but my colleague suggested that hyperdocs for some aspects of the PBL might be helpful for them at this time so they still have those support documents and step by step instructions. #pblchat
I'll also still be using scrum with my students during the remote learning experience because they've been trained on it all semester I'm hoping that will increase collaboration between students as well #pblchat
@cfanch It has been an absolute game-changer for me this year! I have a tab for the calendar, guidelines, mastery rubric, n2ks, group assignments (when applicable) and any other tabs needed.
A3: I've streamlined my project information to all be in a single Google Sheet document with separate tabs including a need to know section which has helped in the past during in-class instruction delays #pblchat
A2: My students are already familiar with trello boards for digital project management and they can share their progress that way. We can connect via remind and Google Classroom for questions, concerns, and conferences. And I can track progress in drive folders #pblchat
@LeahRossHenry Doing my best! It's so frustrating because we had a really cool project planned with English meeting Biology through the lens of "Night" by Elie Wiesel. But we're going to make it happen somehow.
A1. We were launching a cross-curricular PBL this week. So trying to get all those moving pieces together has been difficult. We're starting to get things established with Google Meets and through team drives in Google drive however #pblchat
@LeahRossHenry Heyhey! Lisa from Cary, NC. Finally finished knitting a blanket I've been working on for six months so it has been a great week so far! #pblchat
I love it when I get emails from my students asking about our PBL even though instruction is on a freeze right now. Absolutely appreciate these kids so much on days like today.
This week, @LibnOfCongress Carla Hayden chatted with @MajorCBS on "The Takeout," a weekly podcast about policy & pop culture. She discussed how the Library of Congress is connecting all Americans to its collections, programs & services.
