In Feb, @isonewengland decided to keep the MOPR rule for two more years, essentially blocking large amounts of solar and wind power coming on the grid until 2028! Only @FERC has the power to tell ISO-NE to get rid of MOPR now. @RichGlickFERC we want #NoMoreMOPR

.@isoNewEngland manages the electricity grid and influences which energy sources power it - fossil fuels, solar, wind, batteries, etc. Ignoring the climate crisis with policies like MOPR that protect natural gas companies hurts everyone. @FERC it’s time to say #NoMoreMOPR!

The MOPR policy maintained by @isonewengland is effectively a fossil fuel subsidy that keeps out-of-date, polluting power plants like Merrimack Generating Station in Bow, NH on our grid. It's 2022 -- @FERC @RichGlickFERC it's past time for no more coal and #NoMoreMOPR
