tom straw isn’t asking us to go to bat for him, and i get the whole fake universe continuity bit, but i DO want to know how he feels about nathan fillion standing in for his rightful author photo

[elly @librarelly]

it’s nat’l library workers day!! you’re welcome for teaching your families how to use their ereaders, i will accept your attendance at the central library open house event this thursday as payment (or a drink after, whatever)

[elly @librarelly]

yes! love my colleagues but it’s felt so difficult to be generative when we’ve all been (and still are) in survival mode together.

Fantastic #PLA2022 experience. Among other many things, I'm realizing how hard it's been to operate without any kind of interpersonal feedback for 2 years, just shooting work out into the void (& reading twitter, which is not... the same). SO good to talk to everyone.

@LibrariansFTW 🥰😍🥰😍🥰 really appreciated your recognition of red states and spaces that are less incentivized than yours, AND walked away with actionable ideas. u da best

[elly @librarelly]

we are damn lucky to have @LibrariansFTW refusing to entertain hateful, disingenuous assertions that building a world where queer people stay alive is a nefarious, shady goal or a trojan horse for something beyond survival (and, we can dream, spaces where we *thrive*) #PLA2022

[elly @librarelly]

@modernholden they “have a loud voice”, okay

[elly @librarelly]

@JudieGanul there’s a lot of olive green but u know we’re stumbling last min into panels so everyone can see our looks (or i can’t stand to leave during a Q and A)

[elly @librarelly]

one more #PLA2022 fit check 🥲

[elly @librarelly]

@npnbjlowe i’m honored

[elly @librarelly]
