This is an extraordinarily bad choice for the health of the American people
The HHS Secretary shapes health policy in profound ways
He would oversee Medicare for instance -- and determine and shape your parents and grandparents health insurance
He and people he appoints would oversee the agency that decides what medicines are available to the American people
His ideas may sound good on bumper stickers but are unserious and often downright harmful
Our healthcare system is far from perfect. But it has spurred so much progress that has benefitted the American people
This appointment, if confirmed, puts all of that at risk
Slow down.
Witness what is happening within you, around you, and beyond you.
Deep breath as you return to your spiritual compass.
Reclaim your knowing.
Stand in truth and for truth.
There you are.
The people in my autism parenting groups who are just figuring out what gutting the Department of Education is going to do to their kids, after they voted for Trump. Whew, chile. It’s a whole lotta, “They can’t do that, right?” Nah, bro. They can and they’re gonna.
No one can defeat our hope. Make some art. Call a friend. Start something meaningful with just 1 person as a start. Trust your gut. Respect others. Expect great things. #CripStrong#CripLove#CripFam Be undeniable. Be mad, take care of yourself and then do something joyful.
