Last book club of the term, reviewing our Fantasy & Sci-Fi reads, top trumps style. We ranked story, heroism, villainy, magical/ scientific elements, world building and gave an overall rating. A great selection of books being shared too! @OAOpenAcademy
Our Year 8 top readers enjoyed hearing from a great selection of authors today at the Norwich School, Norfolk Book Festival. BREIS was a huge hit! @OAOpenAcademy
Finally, we were really impressed with one particular student who went above and beyond designing the OLC door. Congrats to Frazer who has won the individual prize for his Alice in Wonderland door!

Then we ended the day reading the final part of our whole school read of Lamb to the Slaughter with year 8 and running a mock trial. What a great day with more planned for tomorrow!
Happy @WorldBookDayUK ! Started the day with year 7 enjoying the @Literacy_Trust Booky & Footy quiz. 4 students managed to score an amazing 20/20! At lunch students were able to select books to take away from our book fair- I've never seen the library so busy! @OAOpenAcademy
