@MDMorrison82 Loving this for you Mike! Thank you so much for your updates, been following since your first post!
Hope this inspires you to come to Scotland 🏴
@marcrileydj Saw them at the barrowlands 2 weeks ago and we had a completely different experience. The crowd were fully engaged and enthralled. Perhaps a venue/ locality issue?
@scriptwren The Fox girl and the White Gazelle by Victoria Williamson?
Kind of spark by Elle McNicol?
Both aimed round about age 8-12. However have excellent themes and story lines
@JanetEmson Sweaty Betty, lulu lemon and under armour…. We went to Florida and I needed sweat wicking clothes to help cope with combined heat and humidity!
@Dr_BellaR No one has the right to tell you this. You are grieving for the life you can’t have. Take care of yourself as best you can. Infertility is harrowing and grief is personal
@Dr_BellaR It’s harrowing. I am so sorry you are going through this. I get it. My infertility was impacted by 11 miscarriages and 2 ectopic pregnancies. It can be cathartic and good to get your thoughts out. Your grieving for the life you longed for, take time and take care
@FaeTheYY They aren’t. However, the board are at fault when a game can be played at Tannadice but Dens park is flooded…. Too much money on players and not enough making sure the pitch is playable!
@JL_Horan7@youthlibraries@CILIPinfo For Transition we invite the P7 readers to attend an afternoon of library introduction prior to starting high school. At one school we have a transition read and we get the readers to be involved with the handover. When they arrive in August they know a friendly place/ face
@JL_Horan7@youthlibraries@CILIPinfo School library : I used to hold a mocktail party in the school library for S5 and S6 pupils to celebrate the end of their exams and to assist them in choosing their ‘novel’ for higher and advanced higher English. Unfortunately the novel has now been removed from Higher English
@GGallerina@CILIPScotland I then went on to an MSC in Information Science at Strathclyde, completed my Charted Librarianship and it was all down to Blantyre Library helping feed my love for books! I am devastated that this wonderful resource is being withdrawn from a community that needs their library
@GGallerina@CILIPScotland Blantyre library was where I was able to feed my love of reading as a child. This was all to thanks to the children’s assistant Carmel during the 80’s. I then had a summer job there before university which led to a saturday job during university
