🚀 We're beyond thrilled for the #NASIG2024 conference next week! Looking forward to engaging sessions, insights, and a whole lot of fun! We can't wait to connect with everyone and make this the best NASIG Annual yet. Safe travels and see you in Spokane!
Books I saw ppl reading while traveling:
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
The Peacock and the Sparrow by I.S. Berry
Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
I was reading Things I Don't Want to Know by Deborah Levy 📚🤓
🎉 The new COUNTER Metrics website is now live! 🎉
With a refreshed look and easier navigation, this new site is an excellent resource for libraries, publishers, and vendors.
I love seeing readers out and about when I visit the UK & Ireland. It seems like everyone is carrying a book! Some titles I've spotted:
The Now Now Express - Ian Fleming
The Unfair Advantage - Ash Ali
Beyond Possible - Nimsdai Purja
A Darker Shade of Magic - V.E. Schwab

The absolute FUMBLE that is Disney not having a bookstore in the parks that is Belle’s library-themed blows my mind. You’d just need to put in rolling ladders along the bookshelves and bookish Disnerds everywhere would sprain their wrists they’d be throwing money at you so hard
Adulthood is hitting hard today: went to the dentist and actually welcomed advice on flossing more effectively. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new kettle. I probably need to run through a sprinkler and eat poptarts for dinner to balance out this grownup behavior. 😆
Natalie LoRusso and Courtney McAllister are talking about cognitive load and how it affects library workers, something we often forget to consider. Cognitive load doesn't just affect our users!
