Maybe misunderstanding the AFL decisions today but don't most clubs already have full time sport psychs? Even if not full time, surely they could refer a player who needs it to a clinical psych outside the club/salary cap?

If Carlton sped Lij home to avoid spotlight (media/testing or fans) then I hope he wasn't left on his own. That seems an additional level of risk for someone in MH crisis. Also if the Pies footage is legit, should they have said something, and if so, to whom and when?

Isn't there an indie doc there to look at head injuries? If none of the players, umpires, club officials didn't take Lij out of the game, shouldn't a doctor have been able to do it?

7th v 10th
8th v 9th

To be played on the weekend of the current pre-finals bye.

Essentially the finals is expanding to a 10-team structure
